No.: Except that a puppy raised at home would probably be called a low-risk exposure in most places, and so you may not need rabies shots at all for a puppy bite.

Yes same vaccine: Vaccination done not only for unknown dog bites ( includes puppies ) raccoons, bats other wild animals killed virus vaccine is the same one. Do not have to worry about pet dogs if they are vaccinated.
