Do i have to see a specialist to get a brain ct scan with dye ordered?

No: You do not need a specialist to order a ct scan, however your insurance may not pay for it unless a specialist orders it. This is one of the problems in us healthcare. Any doctor or qualified healthcare provider can order the scan...But insurance may not pay for it. Check with your insurer first.
