Any over-the-counter help for someone with chemical burn?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Chemical burns vary from caustics like lye, to acid and even more erosive chemicals. Immediate action should be to flush off the agent causing the burn. If the skin is red and not opened, then you can treat it with cool soaks and keeping it clean. If the skin outer layer is burnt off and the pain is significant, you should go to an emergency room or at least contact a poison control center.
