In special crcmstncs: There are some very rare genetic diseases which can increase chances of getting bacterial infection (e.g. Scid) and some conditions (e.g. Having a spleen removed) which can also increase bacterial infection. Diabetics with high blood sugar also can get infections and certainly aids increases risk of certain infections, including TB and mai (a related bacterial infection).
