A member asked:

I have a irregular period, how long do i ovulate for ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Its not how long...: Its how often.... 1. If you have periods that are regularly irregular (ie every 60 days), from ovulation to period is 60 minus 14= ovulation day 46; every 90 days= 90 minus 14= every 76 days 2. If irregularly irregular, then it is much harder and should be monitored with ultrasounds to help predict. Using lh tests are going to be very confusing and frustrating.
