No: The gubernaculum itself is not evaluated with scrotal ultrasound. Scrotal injury evaluation is directed toward the testicles (fracture/hematoma) and whether there is fluid (hematocele, hydrocele) around the testicles which can itself be uncomfortable and, in the setting of hematocele, a marker for the degree of injury.
