A member asked:

I eat out daily and can't be sure if abit of alcohol have been added to the food. now that i'm breastfeeding, will that be a concern?

Alcohol in food: If you are eating food prepared with alcohol most of the time it is cooked- only the flavor remains not the alcohol. It is wise to limit alcohol intake while breastfeeding however cooked foods prepared with alcohol will not be an issue. However "jello shots" where the alcohol is not cooked, not a good idea.
