I got home from the gym today with back pains and i think it is because of my abdominal workouts. is there a way to eradicate these back pains?

Maybe maybe not: Don't just work on the abs / work on the back too spinal extension exercises may help and do your exercises slowly as this decreases the risk of injury / and of course breath while working out no breath holding it is bad for you.
