Deconditioning from lack of physical activity is a likely explanation of your symptoms. Exercise at least 30 minutes/day 5 days/week. Start with the intensity as tolerated. Gradually increase the intensity of exercise so that you are sweating at the conclusion. Raising core body temperature though exercise will strengthen your muscles and make those more flexible. It may take up to 3 months.

At your age, and being male, I can generate a very broad differentia of possible causes - some are very benign but some can be serious. Please see someone to start the diagnostic process.
