Check thyroid: A doctor will do lab work to determine if thyroid is appropriately functioning, sometimes a thyroid scan is necessary. Treatment options are different depending on the reason for hyperthyroidism. It may range from observation to drugs to radioablation to surgery, depending on cause. Please see your doctor about your concern.
