It is concerning.: Few of the degenerative neurological conditions can cause similar problems.One of them with slow speech and difficulty in swallowing and choking with aspiration risk is parkinson's disease. Other problems like als( amyotropic lateral scelerosis) , multiple scelerosis also need to be ruled out. Tkae her to a neurologist htrough her pcp/directly
