ABSOLUTELY!!!!: It is up to your doctor, if you were my pt i would induce you as the ideal time to deliver is 39-40 weeks according to a large study, i would admit you in the evening, put cervadil in the vagina to ripen the cervix and start Pitocin (oxytocin) and rupture membranes the next morning, induction now can prevent csection from macrosomia, meconium, cord problems which all become more common the longer you go !
