You are 37 weeks: Since you are 37 weeks and getting closed to your due date then it is clear that you are going to deliver within the next 3-4 weeks. Being 3 cm is a good sign that delivery may come sooner. Other than that there is no way to know.

Could be anytime!: By that, i mean that you could go into labor tonight - or you might still be pregnant a month from now! certainly, the fact that your cervix is 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced (thinned) is evidence that your body is getting ready. I had one woman who was 5 cm dilated for several weeks! everybody thought that baby was just going to fall out! so do the best you can to be patient (!); time will pass.
