No.: Currently, there is no evidence that suggests zinc interferes with the effect of amoxicillin. Amoxicillin is similar to penicillin, in that it interferes with the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall. Because of this similarity, anyone with an allergy to penicillin should not take amoxicillin.

Unlikely: Certainly an usual question. What are you using zinc drops for and how? If this is topical and you are taking the drops orally they are not likely to have any significant effect. Some antibiotics may be partially inactivated by heavy metals, but i cannot find any data on interactions between zinc and amoxicillin.
