Oophorectomy: If you had both ovaries removed then you would need to use the egg (follicle) from another woman and would require hormone support. If only one ovary was removed, the remaining one should be evaluated to see if ovulating. If you are uncertain about what is remaining see a gynecologist so they can order an ultrasound.
