Sebaceous glands : Oil glands known as sebaceous glands are found throughout the face and neck. Their size varies from person to person and also from area to area on the body. The largest oil glands form acne cysts when they become clogged and inflamed. These inflamed areas can be injected with a steroid to reduce inflammation quickly. Also topical treatments and oral antibiotics may help. Consult a dermatologist.
