Keep trying: Quitting smoking is extremely challenging but very necessary. Most smokers try 7 times before quitting. There are a number of medications, including chantix, which may increase your likelihood of quitting. Stick with it and you'll succeed. Work with your pcp. Good luck.

Some hospital have groups programs and they are very successful because participants help each other. Many different drugs that help with the symptoms. Also an exercise program will help. Electronic cigarets another way.

Mix with herbs: One technique that helps many is to roll your own cigs with 2/3 tobacco & 1/3 a mix of smoking herbs like mullein. Sage & sweet woodruff (search for info on smoking herbs). Then make it 1/2 & 1/2, then 1/3 tobacco & 2/3 herbs etc. Gradually reducing until you have weaned yourself off tobacco. Good luck!
