I have an iud (2.5 years) but have several pregnancy symptoms, especially constant nausea. several negative hpt's later still not sure what's wrong?

Wrong tree?: There are several conditions that cause nausea. See a gastroenterologist for a thorough work up.

Possible infection: You may have a uterine infection. See uour gynecologist or check in with the er for cultures and possible treatment.

IUD type?: Some iud's contain hormone that is dispensed over a defined period of time and need to be changed if they are expired. A pregnancy in the fallopian tube can also cause your symptoms and have a negative otc pregnancy test. Have a gyn md examine you and perform a more accurate blood pregnancy test.
