A couple weeks ago i took an at home pregnancy test and it came out positive. i have a iud so i went to the doctor next day & my urine & blood work was negative. im just curious what caused the positive result. she said my iud is also still in place?

If you do not follow the testing instructions precisely you can get a false positive. Especially if you do not read the stick within the prescribed time. Another explanation could be that an early pregnancy was lost spontaneously as happens with about 30% of pregnancies.
