Yes: You do not mention your present meds. This would help. However, you can suffer flares even if you are on meds. Discuss with your doctor.

Yes: Passive range of motion exercises and night time splints can be helpful. Also, padding small utensils (pens, toothbrushes, eating utensils) can be helpful to diminsh the stress on your joints. Feel better!
