Follow up with and: Trust your psychologist and psychiatrist. These would help- getting enough rest and sleep, staying active and exercising regularly, lighten up, smile and find humor in life, stay in touch with family members and friends, eat nutritious fruits and veggies, do some meditation and try seeking help from the almighty power above! god bless you!

Balanced care.: Outstanding response by dr bonuel. I strongly agree. There needs to be balance in how our physical, emotional & spiritual needs are being met. Clearly your life is out of balance at this time. With the help of your treatment team (hopefully a therapist, psychiatrist and your primary physician) hopefully care in all of these areas can be optimized.

Go see your doctor: Looks like you're already taking fluphenazine. Talk to your prescribing physician about your symptoms & concerns which may be a side effect of your medication (https://online.Epocrates.Com/noframe/showpage.Do?Method=analyze&monographid=29&multibrandalert=false; may require registration w/o fee). Or check out http://www.Drugs.Com/mtm/fluphenazine.Html for more info re fluphenazine.

Physiologic rxns.: Our physical and emotional health are interwoven. The body often expresses our emotional anguish through physiologic symptoms. This is further complicated by possible medication side effects or sometimes completely separate medical conditions. My hope for you is that you can have a comprehensive assessment that can tease some of these issues apart. Take care.
