Parenting 101: Unfortunately, after the age of 18 you cannot force your son to see a doctor unles he is at risk to self or others. I do not know from your question " what is happening to him" but i suggest you contact his physician.

Although I agree that an adult son has the right to decline requests, the key issue is his symptom experience (e.g., if losing consciousness, dangerous to drive.
