Dry eyes: I can only address the eye part of your problem. You may have dry eyes. If bad enough, dry eyes may even lead to headaches and neck pain. Try otc preservative-free artificial tears every 1-2 hours as a test. If some of the symptoms go away, then see an eye md for dry eye evaluation and treatment.

Biopsy when stable: The current studies suggest that there may be a cancer. The source could be the lung or thyroid. This could also be benign, but with the pe it will need further workup. After the pe is stabilized a biopsy is the only way to know.

Caution advised: In the years I have been practicing I have yet to see anyone with significant lasting improvement after radio frequency ablation which is used to cauterize the small nerves supplying sensation to the spine. Assess the risks versus benefits carefully before deciding.

Consult physician: As you can imagine there are several causes for your symptoms, some severe and some not severe. But a physician needs to see you to question you about them and perform a physical examination. Test may/may not be ordered according to the physician's impression, but most of the time he/she will do. Good luck!
