Yes: Usually these can be performed together. However, the sore throat after the tonsillectomy will be slightly more painful, since for the first several days after the rhinoplasty your nose will be stuffy and you will mouth breathe. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids and keep your throat moist after surgery.

Concerns...: Here is my concern. Many times when you get your nose done, it becomes pretty swollen and you can't move much air through it for awhile. So you kind of become mouth breather for a few days and if you had throat surgery and had swelling there, it's going to be real hard to breathe. I would probably error on the side of safety, and split them up.I know that is most likely not what you wanted to hear.

Yes but recovery: Certainly but your recovery may be a little more difficult because you will find yourself breathing through your mouth due to nada obstruction. Of course there are a variety of tonsillectomy approaches as well as a range of rhinoplasty techniques that will effect the specific surgical risks and recovery.

Rhino + tonsil sx: While it's not unsafe to have both surgeries at the same time, the main consideration should be the level of discomfort for you after surgery. Adult tonsillectomy has a significantly uncomfortable and prolonged recovery period, which may be compounded by the fact that you can not breathe well through your nose after rhinoplasty.
