Due to many reasons: Pain in upper arm can be due to many reasons, like injury, muscle pull, or a pinched nerve, following are common causes 1trauma to shoulder and arm, like rotater cuff(a group of musvles&tendons that stabilise shoulder) or brachial plexus(network of nerves) 2pinch nerves coming from the neck 3 tendinitis that is inflammation in biceps tendon 4sometimes rhematoid arthritis may cause pain in upper arm.
