No: This is something many believe but research shows that there is no relationship between a fetus's heart rate and its gender except possibly during labor, when girls have a faster heart rate. Before labor, the odds of correctly predicting boy or girl from the heart rate is 50-50.

Not reliably: There are those who will tell you that certain heart rates seem to indicate one sex or the other. But this is non scientific. Ultrasound is still the best way to determine sex.
