A member asked:

What blood tests should i do to check if i have any heart disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A long list: There is a long list of tests that could be done to assess the risk of heart disease, e.g., fasting blood lipids, c-reactive protein, thyroid function tests, bnp, troponin etc. It would be prudent to discuss the issue with your doctor for choice of tests based on your history, physical findings and findings of initial tests.
