A member asked:

Does a patient typically pay the $250 consult fee plus botox cost at every 4 month visit? how does this normally work out?

Differs by practice: This varies by practice. We don't charge a consult fee. Our Botox treatments are charged based on how many units you use - so if you use less, it costs less.

Not typically. : Botox lasts ~3 months so you'll have to get re-treated if you desire. As a returning patient for botox, you should be responsible for just the Botox treatment and not have a separate consultation fee. However, if the provider's 'consultation fee' for returning patients is offset by a lower charge for the Botox treatment, its all semantic at that point. That'd be an odd way to breakdown the fees.

No: I wouldn't charge a consult fee in addition to the treatment.
