A member asked:

I have had a long spinal fusion, for scoliosis, is it okay for me to jog?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: If fully healed from surgery, then yes. In fact, there are very few things you should be restricted from doing at that time. If within the first 6 months, i would ask your operating surgeon. I will typically allow biking, light impact aerobics at the 3 month visit if bone quality good. Thereafter i will allow progression to more athletics. Ultimately, 1 year before strenuous athletics.
