See your prescriber.: You have to understand why you started to take this medication in the first place in order to successfully quit taking the medication. You will need supervision in decreasing then stopping the medication with the help of your pcp or psychiatrist. Just abruptly stopping the medication can cause intolerable side effects and can be dangerous especially if you have been on it for a long time.
