A member asked:

What can i do if my tsh levels are 5.210 (h) and is labeled abnormal. do i have hypo- or hyperthyroidism?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hypothyroidism : Tsh is thyroid stimulating hormone. Meaning if your thyroid isn't working hard enough (underactive/hypothyroidism), then more TSH is released to stimulate your thyroid to work harder.
