Variable: Endometriosis is when uterine lining tissue grows outside the uterus. Typical symptoms are infertility, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding and cramping during menses. The history alone is accurate 89% of the time in one report. Definitive diagnosis usually requires a laparoscopic surgery.
