Peri umbilical : Pain with nausea/vomiting, followed by right lower quadrant abdominal pain with tenderness and guarding and low grade fever are classic symptoms. But few cases present with typical symptoms. Only an experienced clinician is qualified to evaluate each case of possible appendicitis, and frequently even these doctors need a ct scan to be sure.
