Please tell me, could appendicitis cause constipation?

Unlikely: Appendicitis won't cause constipation, and rarely diarrhea either. Now, after appendectomy one may have some constipation due to effects of surgery and pain meds. Usual symptoms are rlq pain and tenderness, fever, loss of appetite, malaise, and nausea. Usually progresses to rupture in 24-72 hours. Good luck.
