Yes: Great answer from dr katz. Yes wet sand can be irritating, chafing, and lead to rash...Just like getting sand in your suit at the beach. Just wash off and use lotion like calendula after playing.Also wash hands well as children can get worms from sand lots. It is important to be a kid...Just wash up after getting dirty.
