What kind of rash do babies get if they are allergic to certain foods?

Redness: They can have only itching or an eczema type rash where the skin is scaly and red. Use an elimination diet to determine what foods are the possible culprits. Allergenic foods include strawberries, egg, corn, seafood, wheat, peanut, citrus and even milk.

Hives possibly: Allergic rashes typically present as hives (itchy, irregularly-shaped, raised, often reddish bumps on the body that can get bigger after scratching them). Sometimes the rash may be more pinpoint. The rash could either appear around the mouth or more widespread over the entire body. It would happen regularly after consuming the food. Other signs could be vomiting, lip swelling & breathing problems.
