Percutaneous valve: There are probably many, but the biggest "game changer" in cardiology i estimate is the transcatherer aortic valve replacement (tavr or tavi). This is replacement of the aortic valve without open heart surgery. It is now being done in more places and can be very helpful for patients who would otherwise not be able to tolerate open heart surgery.
