She may not get sick: Chemo does not make everybody sick. Most patients now can take chemo and feel fairly well. Once in a while there may be nausea or vomiting on the first or second day of chemo. After that she should feel fairly well and be active and be able to eat. She should not anticipate any problems and try to ignore any minor side effects. Positive thinking helps a lot in order to stay well!
