Like this: How your mom will handle chemo is impossible to foretell. Depends on the kind of chemo and how healthy she is. As to how to help, first do not anticipate bad reactions, she may do great. If she gets sick, just be available. Even little things will be appreciated. That said, don't smother her. Let her fight this on her terms and with dignity. I truly hope both of you do well.
