Allergic reaction?: Swollen lips can be caused by a topical or systemic allergic reaction, side effect of medications, trauma etc. Depending on the cause, Benadryl (diphenhydramine) could be taken and/or topical steroid swabbed on the area. If there is a cut or infection, antibiotic may be needed. Go see your dentist!
