My daughter 5 year 50# daughter has dental treatment at 4 pm and its now 10:40 her numbness is still there and her lip has swollen what can i do help!

Chewed lip: She is probably confusing the chewed, traumatized, swollen lip with numbness. Children often chew their lower lip the first time they have local anesthetic in the lower teeth. It can look awful. Swollen with white sores. Fortunately, while it looks awful, it usually doesn't hurt much if at all. It usually heals back to normal without out any special treatment.

Nothing: She probably bit her lip which is always a problem with kids. It usually looks terribly and swollen. It will get better soon if she is still numb when the swelling goes away talk to your dentist.
