What causes rid of a sore or cystic pimple in your ear?

Hurts, huh?: About once every few years i get one of these, and putting a stethoscope in ears with one is totally not fun. Best thing is to keep clean, and then can use a drying agent such as vinegar or a little rubbing alcohol on a q-tip if the pimple can be reached. On rare occasions is lots of drainage from "the zit", a topical antibiotic may be needed.
