A member asked:

Do people take diflucan (fluconazole) and azithromycn (the z-pak) at the same time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, but why?: Azithromycin is used to treat bacterial infections and Diflucan (fluconazole) is used to treat fungal/yeast infections. So, if you have both condition and need both meds, you can use them. If not having both types of infections, no need to use both medicines. If you have additional concern, please consult the prescribing physician/nurse. Good luck.
