Inflammation: Ice can help with the swelling. There's a product that I like a lot for facial bruising and swelling from injections (that would work well in this case as well) called Regenica Recovery Gel, it has arnica, aloe and growth factors to help speed recovery. Ibuprofen or other anti inflammatories may help. You could also try a weak, otc steroid cream, but don't use it for more than a few days.
