Maybe: Regular menstrual cycles require ovulation. In general, women ovulate 12-14 days after the first day of bleeding (period) and start another period 10-14 days after ovulation. Irregular ovulation often causes irregular menses. Usually if you have bleeding it means you ovulated 10-14 days previously.
