I'm a little confuse about hysterectomy? isn't it a surgery done on the uterus so women can't get pregnant, right?

No: A hysterectomy is a surgery to remove the uterus entirely. It is not usually performed for birth control; however, it would eliminate the possibility for pregnancy.

No: A hysterectomy is the removal of the uterus - it does provide essentially 100% contraception but it is not done routinely done just for contraception.
