It depends: Chances of getting pregnant can be good if cervical cancer is caught very early at stage ib1 or less. These are small tumors usually less than an inch or so in size only involving the cervix itself. Unfortunately many cervix cancers are found when they are larger than this or have spread into the tissues near the cervix and in these cases the only curative treatments lead to infertility.
