Go to appointment : Go see your dentist but make sure he and the staff know of your canker sore. They can cautiously treat you and may apply meds to your sore to quicken healing. Good luck.

Canker Sore: I would still keep your appointment. Perhaps they can laser treat it. They will be aware of it, it is not contagious, and they will comfortably work around it.
