Several: Diabetes and pcos affect your blood vessels. So overall life expectancy is altered. When blood vessels get imaged more the consequences can lead to blindness, heart attacks, strokes, amputations. Etc. So controlling diabates especially with pcos is very important. It is easier to prevent problems than treat them.
