Rheumatologist: ? Which doctor can diagnose fibromyalgia. Rheumatologists are expert at this since it was their national organization that determined definition of the disorder and criteria by which the diagnosis were to be made. Call offices of local Rheumatologists and ask if the doctor "sees new patients who might have fibromyalgia".

Fibromyalgia: Have a full workup from your general care practitioner to determine if fibromyalgia is the correct diagnosis.
